5/15/00 - Thank you, Survivor...
Greetings from Salt Lake City on a day off.
Last night in Boise, after an unforgettable evening under the big Idaho sky, we said good-bye to the guys in Survivor. It has been a real pleasure to see them perform since we started this tour in Phoenix.
Frank, Jamo, Mark, Chris and Billy have turned what some might see as an unenviable opening position on this tour into being the band we all had to follow. They looked great, were as enthusiastic as any young new band around, yet they had body of work that insisted upon fans getting into their seats as early as possible so as not to miss one single hit.
The members of STYX and REO want to thank Survivor for an outstanding run and wish them smooth sailing as they reintroduce themselves to the legions of fans who have not yet seen this reenergized band who is clearly back, better than ever and here to stay.
