It was a long time coming. We had been hearing about this festival for years, but because we were in some state of flux or another in our up and down circuitous career map it had simply never been something we could make happen until now. But once more, STYX fans proved to know no borders and made us feel right at home again. There had been some light showers and a chill in the air as we arrived the concert location, but the weather cleared and held thoughout our set. As we hit the opening notes of "Blue Collar Man" people emerged from all around the enourmous perimeter tents and streamed into the already crowded field in front of us until it was a mass of humanity unlike any we've performed for in this part of the world. It was awesome and we could have played all night, but too soon we were saying farewell. This shot tells more than any more words from me could exclaim.
